The MPE Link Pathway, a com-munity-led initiative connecting Lethbridge and Coaldale, is set to celebrate its grand opening on Thursday.
Phase 1 is complete and to mark the occasion, a celebration at the Link Pathway's Coaldale trailhead will take place on from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day. A free barbecue lunch is provided.
Link Pathway-themed merchandise will be on sale with proceeds going to support the continued project development.
Guests are invited to bring their bicycles to enjoy the pathway after the speeches from local dignitaries conclude.
While the event is free and open to all, registration is requested to ensure enough food is available at the barbecue.
